You Can’t Do More For More

It is a falsehood to think that if we are able to do more, we can then have more.

“More than 100 years of research shows that ‘every hour you work over 40 hours a week is making you less effective and productive over both the short and the long haul.’” according to Sara Robinson. (No relation)

My observation of professionals, (dentists, physicians, and attorneys) is this: you have lost time for pleasure.

I’ve experienced the opposite; when I’m working towards a deadline, if I take time for community service/volunteering and personal fun time, I enjoy the coming together of work, in a timely manner.yellowcar

Did you get that?!

When I take time for pleasure and service to others, life works better.

It’s not about working more – doing more.

Do an experiment with your life. You’re a scientist. Work less, enjoy life more.

Let me know your results.
